WHAT IS INCLUDED UNDER WARRANTY?
All mechanical and electrical components are included against any mechanical breakdown occurring during the warranty period, provided that the terms and conditions of the agreement are fully complied with (please refer to policy wording for full details).
WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?
Normal wear and tear/service items and other components subject to routine maintenance or periodic repair or replacement are exempt from the warranty cover (please refer to policy wording for extended list and full details)
WHAT ABOUT SERVICE SCHEDULES?
It is a condition of the warranty agreement that vehicles must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended service schedule by a VAT registered dealer. Service records must be recorded as failure to maintain and provide proof that the service schedule has been completed will invalidate the mechanical breakdown warranty.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS I CAN MAKE?
Claims cannot exceed the value of the vehicle and the maximum amount for each claim is £1,000
HOW DO I MAKE A CLAIM UNDER WARRANTY?
If you have a mechanical breakdown and the vehicle is not at the dealer, Auto Protect need to be contacted on 0870 766 6155 - all claims must be authorised by Auto Protect before any repairs are carried out.
HOW MUCH DO I PAY FOR EACH ITEM?
Please refer to the proposal form and policy wording for details on the maximum amounts that may be paid for each and any item. Repairs costing more than the limits shown on the schedule form will not be paid for through the warranty
